Brahause twist with apple smoked bacon sweet onion dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Apple Smoked Bacon, Lardons
  • 4 cups Onions, Sliced Thinly
  • 2 tsps Chopped Garlic
  • 2 cups Sour Cream
  • 1 TB Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1.5 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 2 TB Chopped Parsley
  • 1 tsp Green onions sliced
  • 2 TB Bacon, Lardons, Crispy
  • 4 Brahause Twist

Preparation:

  • Heat large pan over medium high heat, add bacon lardons and cook until crispy.
  • Remove bacon and add onions, cook, and stir until well caramelized.
  • Add garlic and sauté for 1 more minute.
  • Remove from heat.
  • In medium bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayo, balsamic vinegar, smoked paprika, pepper, salt, and parsley.
  • Whisk in cooled bacon and onion mixture.
  • Serve with warmed brahause twists.
